September 16 – October 29, 2016
Opening Reception: Thursday September 15, 6-9pm
Panel Discussion: The Science & Art Behind Ruination, Saturday, October 8, 1-3pm
Ruination explores the impact of mankind’s intervention in the natural world. From abstract chemical landscapes to fictional vignettes and sculptural portrayals, this group exhibition employs photography and sculpture to illustrate contemporary perspectives on environmental consequences.
Each artist confronts a differing topic within the larger themes encompassing Ruination.  The imagery functions not only as harrowing portraits of our natural surroundings, but also as reflections of ourselves. Featuring the work of photographers Katherine Dean, Hannah Kraus, Tauri Scruggs, Keri Weiland and sculptors Christine Bentley & Matthew Phillips.
This exhibition is in conjunction with Atlanta Celebrates Photography.
