How long have you been teaching at Spruill?  I think I have been teaching at Spruill since 2008. I was originally substituting for the previous glass instructor.

What classes do you teach?  I teach kiln fused glass.

Best part about teaching at Spruill?  Best part about Spruill is the students and other faculty. So many of them have become my friends!

Do you have any pets?   I have two dogs who are absolutely crazy and some fish that are sometimes my favorite because they are not loony tunes.

Where did you grow up?  I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and Bel Air, Maryland.

Favorite Artist? Or biggest inspiration?  Favorite artist – I have so many favorites that it is difficult to narrow it down. I admire Rodin, O’Keeffe, Turner, Caravaggio, Hesse, etc.  Biggest inspirations in glass are Louis Tiffany and Dale Chihuly

Guilty pleasure?  Cannolis- but I feel very little guilt.

What are you currently reading or binge watching?  Anything Sherlock Holmes- books, movies or TV.

If you could be any age for a week, what age would that be and why?  I’d go back to my college years. I had a lot of fun!

Glass half full or half empty? Or is the glass just malformed?  Usually half full, but sometimes it depends on what is in the glass.

What is your perfect pizza?  Favorite pizza has kalamata olives, feta, artichoke hearts, and just a few green peppers.

What is the last picture you took with your phone? It is our Glass art show in Dawsonville.
