+Shop Artist: Jeffrey Wilcox Paclipan
Join us at Spruill Shop at Spruill Gallery on September 21 for the next +Shop event to experience the creativity and vision of Jeffrey Wilcox Paclipan, a multidisciplinary artist whose work transforms discarded materials into thought-provoking mixed media collages. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to witness Jeffrey’s creative process live from 2-5 pm.
Born in the Philippines and a graduate of the International Fine Arts College in Miami, Paclipan’s artistic journey has taken him from Miami to New York and now to Atlanta, where he has established himself as a significant figure in the local art community. With works featured in solo and group exhibitions at Hathaway Contemporary Gallery, Mason Fine Art, Galerie Tew, Bill Lowe Gallery, and more, Paclipan’s art is widely recognized for its innovative use of marginalized and discarded materials, bringing new meaning to the mundane.
A resident and studio artist at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center from 2020 to 2023, Jeffrey’s dynamic style draws from his exploration of self and identity. His works have been showcased in renowned museums and public institutions, including MOCA GA, Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, Fulton County Arts and Culture, Sewell Mill Library and Cultural Center, and even highlighted in national events like ARTFIELDS and ArtPrize. Whether at Slotin Folkfest or the international Scope, Miami Beach, Jeffrey’s art consistently engages and captivates.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see an artist at work who is compelled to create objects that defy convention and redefine the essence of fine art. Stop by, meet the artist, and explore his small works now available in the Spruill Shop.
