Ceramics Studios

Our recent building expansion, which added two new studios and additional space in our kiln room, has allowed more students to enroll in ceramics classes, addressing the high demand that resulted in wait lists quarter after quarter. The ceramics program, one of the largest in Georgia, includes two wheel-throwing studios, two hand-building studios, a glaze room, a kiln room and raku space. The newly expanded kiln building houses 14 kilns, and the adjacent raku area situated in a covered outdoor space, is equipped with two natural gas kilns.
