PAINTING: ALL MEDIUMS - ALL LEVELS

Joan Tysinger

Materials

This class is designed to encourage exploration of different approaches to the use of color, paint application and/or technique.  You may choose to experiment with a broad range of “paint” media, so a definitive list of materials is difficult. During the first class, all beginning students will take part in a discussion about the properties of various paint media and will see a video on color mixing.  If you are a beginner and not sure what you want to work with, bring any materials you may already have and/or a sketchbook and drawing tools to the first class.  All others come prepared to paint.
