The majority of our class time will be spent on demonstrations.  Depending on how fast we go, you may not have time to fabricate some samples.

You should definitely bring a notebook and plan to take notes!

The metals I will use for the demos include the following:

• approx. 2" x 2" 20ga. sheet

• approx. 2" x 2" 24ga. sheet

• 1 foot 20ga. wire

• 1 foot 18ga. wire

• approx. 5mm outside diameter tubing

• 18ga. inside diameter tubing

You may use either sterling silver or copper for your samples.  We will not be concerned with making finished products in this class.  Copper sheet will be available from the instructor during class.  Copper wire and tubing are usually readily available at Ace Hardware stores.
