What students
should bring to first session:

Stuffing
tools, if you have them. Hemostats will be available for use

Fabric
scissors – big and small

Straight pins
with a large head

Ball point pen

Your
“close-up” glasses if you wear them

Sewing machine
in good working order. Fine needle and open toe or clear
plastic foot if possible. Remember to bring all of the cards
you need for your machine. If you have not used this machine in
a while, please give it a good workout in the few days before to
become reacquainted with it. If you don’t have a machine, your
might share with a friend or contact Charlie in advance to see
what be worked out.
What students
might bring to later sessions:

Fabrics left
over from other projects that might be used fro costuming.
Soft, thin drapable fabrics like silk and rayon are great.

Buttons,
beads, ribbon and other embellishments to be incorporated in the
finished doll.

if you are planning to make a seated doll
