(You will not need the other materials on the list for the first day.)

From Reactive Metals

(800) 876-3434

  • 1" x 2" (or larger) sheet of 14 gauge flat mokume gane billet in sterling/copper.

  • 1" bar of Mokume Gane Straight Grain Forging Rod in the metals of your choice.? Bar must be 14" or 3/8" thick.? (Please be aware that the silver/copper may not wear well for rings.? The silver/shakudo bar is a better alternative.)

  • 2" x 3" sheet of 24 gauge Crinkle Bi-Metal? (They also offer this product in 18g, if you would prefer thicker metal.? You may also do reticulation with 18g or 20g regular sterling sheet.)

Other metals:

  • 1'?18 gauge fine silver round wire

  • 2" x 3" sheet of 24 gauge sterling sheet

  • 1'?18 gauge sterling silver square wire

  • 2' 22 gauge sterling round wire

We will order the other more obscure supplies as a group to keep costs and frustrations down. The cost will be $10/person.
