18” x 24” Drawing Pad
– brand is not so important, just a good Drawing or Sketching
pad will do.
-
Canson 18” x 24” Assorted Earth Tints pad
(pad w/assorted colored pastel & charcoal papers) - *Note feel
free to buy 3-4 sheets of loose Canson or Strathmore Pastel
papers instead.

Graphite Pencils
leaning to the softer, darker leads HB, 2B, 4B, 6B. “Woodless
pencils” and/or “Ebony” pencils are great too.

Colored Pencils
24- 36 count set good – recommend Prismacolor brand.

Pen & Ink Supplies
including Speedball brand “Sketching” dip pen set, as well as a
bottle of Black India Ink, and a few round watercolor style
brushes #’s 1 & 4 (or 6) will do. Basically, one thin and one
thick.

Charcoal Pencils
– soft, medium, & hard, and VINE Charcoal – medium sticks
will do.

Conte’ Crayons and Pencils
in Sanguine(reddish brown), Brown(bistre) and Black & White in
crayon form and also in pencil form(called Conte’ Pastel
Pencils).

Erasers
– Kneaded and plastic or white rubber eraser(mechanical erasers
with eraser strips great too).

Spray Fixative
– can of workable fixative in a matte finish if possible.

Masonite Clipboard
– for support when using easels

Masking Tape
