Bling Bling Earrings Workshop
Instructor: Helen Blythe-Hart
hb@helenblythehart.com
|
In this fun workshop, we’ll learn how to set
colored stones into gold bezels or in pedestal settings, depending on
your stones and skill level. We will then solder the gold onto a
patterned silver back piece. Then we’ll add the decorative elements we
love so much and the mechanism and ear wire. Last we set the stones and
enjoy your new bling blings!
SUPPLY LIST
1.
STONES-
|
2 pairs of
faceted or cabochon stones. I recommend that you use medium
sized stones that are not smaller than a green pea or lentil
for the main sparkle effect. (Advanced students may add two
5mm sized stones to the ones above as time allows) The
design for the earrings is essentially one on top and one
hanging below. I will bring a limited number of stones you
can buy from me in class, but try to get your own.
