This workshop will allow the student to explore a
variety of drawing mediums and different kinds of mark making in
approximately 6-8 drawings during the day. We will critique during
lunch and at the end of the day. Bring a sack lunch. If you do not
wish to use the entire page, you need to draw off & tape the space
before coming to the workshop. Contact the teacher at the above phone#
if you have questions. I recommend shopping at Binders, Pearls or
Utrecht
SUPPLIES:
PAPER - any of these papers -
Coventry
Rag 22x30,
Lenox 100 26x40 or 22 x 30,
Stonehenge
(comes in various tans) 22 x 30,
- or Stonehenge rising paper in a pad 14 x 17
- you might want to try other drawing bristol papers -
14 x17
The 22 x 30 will
make four sheets and the 14 x 17 you can use as-is
- if you don’t
know know how to tear the paper, please call - this
needs to be done before
coming to the workshop, you may want to
have some of each, Stonehenge
soaks up water faster which makes it slightly more delicate, but you get variety in the color
