***************
I will be demonstrating both pastel and colored
pencil the first day - if this is your first class you won’t need supplies until the second week.
You may bring them if you wish to work or
want to ask questions about what you have.
***************
PASTELS:
One Set of NuPastels (96)
One small set of Rembrandt or other soft
pastel (especially lighter colors & white)
Canson Mitientes Paper (19 1/2” x 25”)
several sheets (med. to dark values)
or Canson makes pads of paper
with a glassine sheet in between to keep from
smearing - you'll want a bigger pad for pastel
Optional Supplies:
You may also work with more
expensive pastel papers or sandpaper
May also use small make-up
sponges, eye shadow sticks, etc.
Soft erasers, kneadable,
magic rub, etc.
Stiff Brush for removing
Pastel
Fixatives (Blair or Krylon)

Optional Supplies:

pencil or a
different smoother surface
2 or 3 watercolor pencils or
transparent watercolors
1 soft paintbrush
Paper or sketch book to
explore preliminary drawings, if you want
Kleenex
Soft erasers, pink pearl, kneadable,
