How long have you been teaching at Spruill?  This summer will be five years.

What classes do you teach?  I teach adult acrylic painting. I have a weekly beginner/intermediate class and a weekly abstract exploration class, plus various one-day workshops throughout the year as well as co-teaching a summer teen intensive with John Horne.

Best part about teaching at Spruill?  That’s tough, but I would have to say it is the freedom to translate the needs of my students into a class structure that I feel can give them the most benefit.

Do you have any pets?  I have a ten-year-old beagle named Hank.

Where did you grow up?  I grew up in Sandersville, GA about 2.5 hours East of Atlanta.

Favorite Artist? Or biggest inspiration?  Right now I am loving the work of Amber Boardman and Tori Tinsley and I am forever inspired by the natural world.
