The Spruill Center offers day, evening, and weekend classes for Adults, Teens, and Children in a wide variety of visual art media. All classes are held at the Spruill Education Center unless otherwise stated or notified by the registration office. In the event that a course is held off-site, directions will be provided. For room location, check posted room use lists located at the entrances of the Education Center at the time of class.

Our instructors are professional artists, teachers and college professors. They are carefully chosen for their artistic talent and their ability to successfully communicate skills, techniques, and processes to students.

Regular course and special workshop instructors are independent contractors. As such, they design their own course curriculum and can generally answer more in depth questions about their classes. Most instructors have contact information available for their students. Please contact the Registration Office at 770.394.3447 x 0 for more information. Summer Camp Instructors are SCA employhttps://registration.spruillarts.org/wconnect/InstLookup.awpees and are drawn from the public & private school systems. They are subject to a background check at the state and federal levels.

You can register using the online registration system or complete a paper registration form with payment. The paper form can be faxed, mailed, or dropped off at The Education Center. The registration form can be found in the paper catalog, using the links on the registration page of our website, or at the registration desk outside of room 19 at The Education Center. Spaces will not be held without a registration form and/or payment.

• Logon with your email and password. or create an account to register.
• Look Up Course - Click on the major listing and department, then click on the title of the class.
• Add More Courses to enroll in more than one class. Otherwise, continue
• Register for Selected Courses - once you have added the desired course(s) to your Enrollment Card, click "Finish Registration".
• Supplemental Data - some courses require additional registration information. If the course you enrolled in has additional registration information requirements, the Supplemental Data page will open and prompt you to enter your information. Click "Submit" once finished.
• Payment - enter your payment information then click "Submit Payment".*
• Confirmation - the Registration Confirmation page will provide notification of enrollment. A confirmation email will be sent to you. At this time, you may log out of the system.

***Important Note Payment Processing The Wait page will be displayed to you while the system awaits credit card approval. DO NOT click the Back button, select another URL or stop the transaction by moving away from the page until the process is completed. The approval process will be aborted and you WILL NOT be enrolled in the course

Click on the Forgot Password link. You will be sent an email with a link to reset your password. Or go to My Account and replace your password.

We do have any scholarships available in our ceramics department and there are a limited number of scholarships available for our summer camp program. Please contact our Education Director at 770.394.3447, extension 229.

The membership discount is $20 for all classes that are greater than $100. For classes $100 or less the membership discount will range from $10-$15, depending on the cost of the course.

To pay for membership online, select the membership level and click continue. You may add course registsrations, in addition to your membership. The member fee will be reflected in your total on the payment page. You may also print, complete, then email or fax a membership form. Household members names must be called in to the Registration Office at 770.394.3447 x 0.

The Spruill Center reserves the right to refuse/cancel registration, change or cancel any class for any reason. Students will be notified in All class cancellations, changes and refunds initiated by a student must comply with following time lines:

• Regular Classes- Three (3) business days (M-F 9am to 5pm) before the class begins.
• Summer Camp- Two (2) weeks before the camp session for which your child is enrolled.
• Special Workshops- Before the published registration deadline/ balance due date, and/or no later than two (2) weeks prior to the first day of the workshop.
• Classes, summer camps, and special workshops can not be cancelled through the online registration system. All cancellations will incur an administrative fee and must be confirmed by an employee of the Spruill Center in the time lines listed above.

Administrative Fees & Refunds:
Regular Classes & Summer Camp- Administrative Fees range from $10-$20, based on the cost of the course. Emergency/Medical refunds may be exempt from administrative fees at the discretion of the Registrar with appropriate documentation. Special Workshops- The administrative fee for special workshop cancellations is 15% of the total amount paid. Emergency/Medical refunds do not apply to special workshop deposits. Deposits are not refundable under any circumstances. No refunds, transfers, and cancellations will be processed after a course has begun or beyond the registration deadline. Monies will not be held as a credit for future use. Previously retained fees will not be refunded. Memberships and donations are not refundable for any reason.
