How long have you been teaching at Spruill?  Off and on since 1996, so for about 22 years!

What classes do you teach? Summer Camp -Mainly Drama, but I have also taught Music and Dance

Best part about teaching at Spruill?  Watching the kids own the script and bring it to life on stage in their unique way.

Do you have any pets?  Not at the moment, but when the stars are finally aligned, I’m determined to get a Golden Retriever or Lab

Where did you grow up?  I was born and raised in Bombay (now Mumbai), India.

Favorite Artist? Or biggest inspiration?  So many, including Shakespeare, Dali, John McLaughlin, Chaplin, Neil Simon, Gaudi, Monty Python, Pink Floyd, etc.…

Guilty pleasure?  Eating an entire container of Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia, while watching a satisfying Rom-com, like “Midnight in Paris.” You know, the type that makes one’s eyes glisten…

What are you currently reading or binge watching?

Reading: Just finished The Odyssey and starting Don Quixote

Binge watching: Westworld, The Big Bang Theory, and World Cup 2018

If you could be any age for a week, what age would that be and why?  That depends on whether my current skills and awareness travel with me! If yes, then 35; if no, then I’m happy right where I am!

Glass half full or half empty? Or is the glass just malformed?  I’m looking beyond the mere glass to the carafe, because that contains the happy juice! And oh joy, the carafe is currently quite, quite full!

What is your perfect pizza?  Hand tossed thin crust, with white sauce, spinach, artichoke, Kalamata olives, roasted red pepper, spicy Italian sausage, red onion, and a dash of virgin olive oil.

What is the last picture you took with your phone?  The Mighty Bridge, at Spruill Center for the Arts, June 29, 2018
