The Spruill Center for the Arts kicking off a an exciting Fall with a new event in partnership with City of Dunwoody and Dunwoody Nature Center! This October, bring your artistic talents to the trails of the Dunwoody Nature Center with Dunwoody Rocks!

Pick up a rock in the lower parking lot at the Nature Center between September 11 and October 28. You can decorate at home, or join us for a FREE workshop, lead by a Spruill Arts Instructor. We’ll have the rocks on-site at these events! All paints and materials must be water-based. RSVP using the location links below:

Finally, celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Dunwoody Nature Center on October 28, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM with the Dunwoody Rocks! party at the Nature Center. The entire community is invited to the Dunwoody Rocks! unveiling. We’ll gather on the grounds of the Nature Center where everyone will place their rocks and celebrate community with activities including a DJ, a picnic lunch, chalk artist Taylor Wilkins, and a Dunwoody Nature Center 25th Anniversary celebration! The rocks will remain in place through at least the end of Thanksgiving week, but because all paints and materials used will be non-toxic and water based, the intention is to allow them to remain in place until the elements eventually return the rock to their natural state.
